I finally had a spare morning to install my newly purchased ARK Exhaust. I couldn't wait to get down to business.

I drove the NSX backwards onto some ramps, burned a little clutch doing it I might add (stinky). Once the NSX was up I took a look at my task....not alot to do here, (6) bolts and 4 rubber hangers.

HA!!! Not so simple...of course 4 of the 6 were stuck. A soaking with WD40, and 20 minutes later another shot of WD40, then finally broke 2 loose. Then I found I had to go to the parts store, I needed a super long extension for the remaining bolts.

I'm sure those of you who have done this know exactly what I am talking about. Each triangle after the cats have a bolt on top, hard to reach, but easy with a long extension.

So....blah blah blah and then the new ARK was installed. Pretty, shiny, much lighter than the stock. I layed uder my car for a moment just to see my reflection.

I started the car (praying it wouldn't sound ricey) and IT SOUNDED GREAT! Throaty, deep, has a great deep sound to it....I love it. Then I took it for a spin. My neighbors noticed to0.

Then the left rear...jackstand...tire...off...wheel well...INSTALLED Air Intake, and reinstalled all the equipment back. WHAT A COOL SOUND!!! It amplifies the intake by 10 times.

Another test run, and Wonderful...I was greatly surprised again. Not sure if I noticed a great deal of HP increase with the Air Intake, but overall with both components installed I did notice alot quicker revvs.

Overall I am happy with the new sounds, style, and added HP as well as sounds. But now I FEEL I NEED MORE!!! Maybe a chip, or NOS or a SUPERCHARGER!!!!

For now, I have to wait....My super charger money is being installed on my roof

WOW... I guess you had enough fun with a new toy... Congratulation !! Enjoy your ride with ARK .... Thanks

You should probably re-set the ECU as well. Just pull the clock fuse out for a few minutes and re-insert. This will make the ECU "learn" faster.

No numbers on a dyno yet....I would like to , but don't know where to go around here. I'll have run a search.

Thanks also for the info on the clock fuse!!!

vurgun...go to dynojet.com and look up the closest person! i'll see what i can do for you...PM me
