Hi,
Installed the Shark Attack II antenna and it works great. Saddly my interior lights (trunk, dome, doors and foot well) don't work? I checked the fuses and they seem fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

i'll let you know .. good luck!

I'm sorry, but I don't know what is involved in your Shark Attack antenna install. What components did you remove/mess with?

Were you anywhere near the door switches that control the interior lights?

We (I?) need more to go on.

Its pretty simple, thats why I'm confused. I thought maybe I managed to blow a fuse or accidently cut a wire, but no such luck. Even more odd that everything else including the antenna seems to be working.

OK, I must hang my head in shame. In my panic that I mucked something up, I completely forgot to check the fuses under the hood. You know, where the fuse is that actually has anything to do with the interior lights.

Pulled it and sure enough, it was blown. I think it happened when I cut the wires that powered the motor for the stock antenna. Replaced it and everything was good as new. Actually better. the shark is a fair amount lighter than stock.

This car never stops amazing me. I love the fact that the interior fuse box has a clear schematic over it provides a fuse puller and houses extra fuses.

I don't ever see myself putting the stock antenna back in, so I couldn't see any reason to leave the connector in there. I still have it and could always put it back on, but I don't see Y.
