I dont know very much about the NSX but am interested in it. I've been driving sports cars for years now and know that with each one comes a common problem.

What kind of problems could I expect if I were to own an NSX?

Thanks,
R.

The NSX is one of the most reliable cars on the market.

Every problem that has been reported on the electronic forums has been noted in the FAQ, which you should look through. It's at http://www.nsxprime.com/toc.htm (You need to check there because there's a guy here called the FAQ Nazi who will remind you if you don't.)

Most of the problems listed there are very infrequent. The most common ones are the window regulators (on '91-92 models, and preventable with an inexpensive part) and the snap ring transmission failure (also on '91-92 models, only certain ones and identifiable by the transmission serial number). Certain parts eventually fail (clutch after 30-100K miles, trunk struts after six years) and these too are noted there.
