Introducing a New Era from LoveFab - The LoveFab NSX GT and GTX Turbo systems

Well, we are at it again!

Over the past seven years, LoveFab has refined their turbo systems to provide the NSX Industry’s best power, response, and uncompromised fitment. From the specially designed FI-Spec headers, to the innovative and subtle water to air intercooler mounting location that has become standard in the Turbo NSX game, LoveFab is once again upping the ante.

All LoveFab turbo systems will now come equipped with Garrett GT turbochargers, or for a nominal surcharge, the new Garrett GTX turbochargers featuring TiAL Stainless Steel V-band exhaust housings.

Garrett has been the industry leader for turbocharging quality and reliability for decades. The GTX lineup was unveiled last year, which vaulted Garrett back to the top.

Garrett provides a plethora of turbochargers to choose from to suit anyone’s needs within the NSX community. The GT30R(and GTX30R) will support 550HP, and will deliver 95% of a 3.0 liter’s torque by 3600RPM. The same can be said about a whipple style Supercharger. The days of the old saying, “Superchargers have no lag.” A properly sized turbocharger won’t have “lag” either, without the power-robbing parasitics of a belt-driven supercharger. The result is the most power possible!

The buck doesn’t stop here. Bolted to every Garrett Turbocharger is one of TiAL’s Stainless Steel V-band turbine housings! These housings are 7-10lbs lighter than the average “T3” turbine housing. Because they utilize V-band, this means no gaskets or bolts to ever “loosen up” over time, making the LoveFab GT and GTX turbo systems the only NSX turbo systems on the market to be FULLY V-banded.

The intercooling system remains unaltered, but we have had to make some changes to the secondaries to fit the much more compact TiAL SS Vband turbine housings. As a result, our exhaust had to be slightly altered as well.

Speaking of exhausts, we now offer three styles of exhaust.

-The Standard Magnaflow-based exhaust system, which provides the subtle exhaust note that LoveFab has been known for. This exhaust is standard equipment.

-The LoveFab Twin Lightweight exhaust, which is a little louder, but 10lbs lighter than standard exhaust. This exhaust fits great with the NSX dual-tip valences. Mufflers can be customized, but the Burns Stainless mufflers offer the lowest weight, highest sound suppression, and unfortunately, also the highest cost. +$1499.99

-The LoveFab Single Ultra-lightweight exhaust, which growls, but is 15lbs ligher than the standard. This exhaust when combined with the TiAL SS Vband housing results in a 15% weight reduction when compared to our old turbo systems. Mufflers can be customized, but the Burns Stainless muffler offers the lowest weight, highest sound suppression, and unfortunately, also the highest cost. +$699.99

Nomenclature:

With all of the new changes, we have decided to also revamp our turbo system identity. Gone are the days of “Staged” systems.

*All GTX upgrades start at $699.99 above the “base” pricing.

Should the customer choose to customize from the “base” systems above, the nomenclature changes fairly predictably. If a GTX30R is chosen, the system would then be the, “LoveFab GTX30 Turbo system.”

We will be writing a complete review describing how well the LoveFab GTX Turbo system, and the LoveFab LF1200 Engine package performed at arguably the most difficult environment in the world. The Pikes Peak International Hillclimb.
