Hi

when I do a search I find this thread:

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59171

But when I go and look without doing a search I can not find it. Seems like there re a page 2 that I do not see.

I have also posted yet another reply which is not there for some reason.

Regards

Directly above and below the posts, on the right of the screen, it says:

Page 1 of 2 1 2 >

Click on "2" or on ">" and you will see page 2.

The reason is that the marketplace forums, where this post resides, are moderated. Posts are not visible in the topic until a moderator has a chance to review and approve them. It should appear within 24 hours, as long as your post conforms to the rules of the marketplace forums, which can be viewed from a link when listing each of those forums.

Hi

Thanks.

I may have changed the "Display options" on the bottom of the screen. That's why I did not see the thread.

I also thought it should be on the "first page" since I replied to the thread the day before and therefor did not think of the display options.

As you say the reply needs to be approved and it seems like it was not approved for some reason.

Regards

The search result will go by forum posts per page defaults to determine the number of pages that it will say exists. There will be a disparity if you have changed that number in your options. In my settings, I changed the post per page to 100 instead of default, so I will often times see the exact same thing you are experiencing.

When a post has not been approved after 48 hours, it almost certainly was seen as a violation of the rules in some way. (I am not a moderator, and I say this based on experience as an observer of these forums.)

The rules are here.

If you feel that your post did not violate the rules and you would like more information, you can contact the forum moderators here.

Of the six sub-forums in the Marketplace, only four are moderated to require approval before a post or thread shows up, AFAIK.

The Marketplace Buyer & Seller Experiences forum and the Vendors / Product Questions & Reviews / Group Buys forum are not moderated by the Marketplace Moderators. I believe that anyone can post in real time without approval in these forums, subject to later moderation by the Site Admin.

I can see page two of the thread in question and the last post is from Martin on 6/5/06.

We strive to meet those expectations, but sometimes it can take as often as 48 hours for a moderator to get to it. If it is not approved after 48 hours, it is virtually certain there was a problem with the post/thread.

The Marketplace Buyer & Seller Experiences forum is set so all posts must be approved by me before they are visible.

However, there are no posts in this the thread in question waiting for approval. The last post is dated 6/5/06 (US date format) by martin and is publically visible.

I knew it wasn't us, but I didn't know others had to be approved. I would guess that my moderator privilege of being ably to post in the marketplace in real time also extends to the Experiences forum since I don't recall having to wait in that forum either.

Hi

I guess I messed up. I must have closed the reply window before the post was posted. I replied the other day and did not see the post so I guess I just messed up.

Sorry for all the fuzz.
