Help!! I'm looking for some guidance on installing a natural gas line. The new line will connect to a feed on the outside of the house. The added line will service a gas grill and fire pit. Since the line will be partially buried under a concrete slab with a deck above it. I understand UPC 1211.5 about the requirement for a sealed conduit for any gas pipe installed under a structure. Here are my questions: Where do I find the material to sleeve the gas pipe? Can I use any PVC piping for a sleeve or is there a special piping for this purpose? Do I need to seal both ends of the sleeve since the conduit will terminate beyond the overhead deck? I've been to Lowe's and Home Depot; the workers look at like I just landed on earth and tell me I only need to wrap the pipe with PVC pipe wrap.
