You are going to have crazy fast spool-up. I hope you have a beefy clutch and cryo'd axles:biggrin:

nah.....bigger AR and wheel...should have full boost @ about 3-3.5K.....

low boost, high cfm :)

thats the plan anyway

I love that this community is stepping up in so many ways to make our cars better.

It seems that every week or so someone comes out of the woodwork with something new, and really really really cool.

Keep it up!

that is the idea...still kinda waiting to see the actual intrest level. the "kit" will not have as many welds and just be all mandel bent tubing, with welds at the least number of points. like a set of headers

Looking really good Marc - that has to be the fastest work-bench in town! <!--StartFragment -->

What's happening on intake side - cooler?

I am concerned (for your own sake) about your plans to offer with a Comptech-style 'control' - but I guess any prospective owner always has the option to add their engine management system of choice.

I'd love to take that 'crappy' welded system off your hands. <!--StartFragment -->

Thanks Ken...as far as the intake side, I am assuming into the TB, not the turbo. On this particular one I have an air to air mounted ala GJ, so the piping goes up thru the fender. The "real" one will be air to water and the outlet housing will spin a little going back to the driver side, straight into the cooler. Limited to approx 400 hp this way but it will all fit under the engine cover too. :)
As far as the comptech style of control, the reason I really feel it will work is 3 fold,
first is cost. Its relative cheap to use, and considering the low boost levels and the success of this management in the past in almost the same application I feel comfortable.
second is availability, it will work on ANY car, no one will be waiting for software upgrades, etc, etc. and as you said the proposed "kit" will come with it but just as when buying a CTSC, you can always upgrade it to what ever you like and most likely get even better results.
Third is the fact that almost ANYONE can set it up. If you can figure out how to bolt on this type of system than you can set up the management, and while it can still be screwed up, the chance of a catastrophic problem are not as high.
I have a concern or two also, but i am not a dealer for AEM or the like and do not want to 2-step it as it would raise the price too much.

And yeah those saw horses are fast….i wish I could get it on one of my benches but they are all full with other projects :)

I need a bigger garage for sure.

I should have noticed the saw horses in the other pics - I even looked at your gallery too!
That very first pic somehow looked like a bench with the finger-pull thingies for the hinged platform being drawer handles! I think I even have those same horses too!

When you say a la GJ - do you mean as in his high-boost system (on top of the motor) or in the low-boost system, where it was just in front of the rear valance? (I think Black&Tan97Tnewportbeach also has cooler in that rear location for his high boost, albeit a larger one)

up top...big HP setup...
for the other one it will have the cooler down low, but NOT like his...the cooler will not be behind the muffler

Nice! Your car looks a lot like mine, I hope people can tell the difference when mine is finished. Are those Thermal tips?

yes they are...thanks, mine is a 93 so they should look very different :)
how is yours coming? dude, you are doing alot more than i am.

Is that their muffler as well? Which one if so?
I had their muffler with the CTSC, it was one of the sweetest sounding mufflers under WOT... Man I miss it
I didn't see that one on their Website...
