Event Info

Not sure if any of you would be interested, but it would be kewl to have some NSX's show up.

I'm torn between this and a track event at T-Hill and another engagement. I'll have to check the schedule, but this sounds like fun. If we can make it- myself and the girl may come down, although we may break off later to go down towards Sea Side, OR once we get out towards 101, the weather is shaping up to be beautiful. :)

Looks like fun...have an autoX on that day, then friends coming into town for the 4th, so I can't.

Wow. You sure think a lot of yourself, don't you?

No, surprisingly i don't think a lot about myself. I just dislike ricers. Is it wrong of me for not wanting to associate with ricers? teeny boppers with their fart cans? Your other comment that you seemed to have edited/erased was quite amusing "I've met Ferrari owner's with a better attitude then yours"

Spideynw, don't get discouraged posting here and I appreciated your invitation. I just wished that you would post this earlier so some of us could join. If I wasn't going to the nsx/S2k go karting on Sunday (hanging with freinds on Saturady, not driving nsx), or even I know earlier, I might join you guys.

Regarding Ricer comment, depends on who you talking to, all Japanese cars owners are considered Ricer by european cars owners anyway. ;)

you as a child?

It's apparent you need to put in your signature that you have 2 NSX's,
an M3, and a 996TT for you to feel worthwhile.

And, yes, I know Ferrari owner's that have a much better attitude then
you. I know some that don't mind having me and my 350z go on cruises
with them. They are what you call "grown up". Maybe you could learn
from them sometime?"

bahaha personal attacks:biggrin: ? hmmmmm
I have friends who own evo's, Z's etc.... even they don't like to associate with the teeny boppers:wink:

No ferrand, I don't consider all japanese car owners ricers. Just the one's who rice out their car's:tongue: . You know the ones, the teeny boppers with their fart cans, who want to race everyone.

Also spideyNW, I don't mind going/having drives with 350z, 2k owners. I actually had a Rx-7 (FD) as well back in the day:biggrin: So don't take it to personally.

Now, you can't keep reposting what I edited out!

I'm making final preparations today. Looks like we're bringing both cars as someone apparently doesn't like my music. Anyways, we'll leave early tommorow A.M. but I may have to stop and check out a car at some point.

Please PM me your cell in the rare event we cut it close due to traffic, etc...

Well, I think I understand more where you are coming from after going on the cruise today...

Some photos of John's car though, freakin sexy!
[edit] photos removed

Not really fair showing up in a race car. Made the rest of our "sports" cars look pale in comparison. :)

uh, hello, John's car is hardly a "race" car at all, don't be fooled by his #17 race sticker. It's only a moderately modified wide-bodied nsx without exhaust (maybe he takes off the header too)

John, funny that my co-worker (like a year ago) who lives in Redmond asked me about your car, he saw yours and when he described your car, he said the exhuast was sweeeet and have this face expression.. I just can't forget that. He is a mexican who speak very little english, then I told him, yeap, the car had no muffler and cat..... and he goes, you guys are all crazy....

Ferrand, having seen so many bone stock NSX's like say- your own 91 red, it would be easy to see how someone uninformed from another club could have gotten confused by that rather curious distinction your trying to make. Thanks for setting the record straight.

BTW, the exhaust on the car currently for the last 6 months is a JDM center exit, not the straight pipe configuration I had on for the Mt. Baker drive. I did fabricate a new race exhaust but found it too raspy.

Anyways, both of us just got in, having extended the drive out an additional 1500 miles having been to California and back this weekend all up an down the coast. We met some mini cooper guys, a few vettes, some more 350Z's etc... What a great Holiday drive!!

I can see you are having fun this weekend. Please accept my apology, I wasn't trying to offend you, just trying to correct spidey not calling yours as race car.

btw, you just have all the free time and money to keep adding and taking off different parts; for a poor guy like me (hence no money for modifications) it's hard to keep track, you know:tongue:

I considered mine as a light tuned car as most of the stuff are bolt on. It's far from bone stock, but it looks stock enough to fool people, especially with the 15/16 stockies.

No offense taken.I am just sitting here with Heather, coming up with snide smart A$$ comments to shoot back. Since we can't slam your driving ability (given the fact that you lapped me that last session at SIR) we figured we had to go to the car :)

BTW, a good closer to this event, and the long weekend... I am pleased to report that Heather is now officially addicted to the go fast crack pipe. After showing her the Skip Barber instructional video.. and four days of non stop motoring, she is telling me she never wants to go back to driving a Honda CRV ever again. That would be 'boring'. She wants to buy a S2000 but.. it has to have my exhaust and my GT Sport Brake pads. Now.. That's a good sign. A real class act.

I could hear her rxhaust in front of me this weekend over mine easily... even the sound of her first few down shifts. Aww.. So cute.. :)

I believe that every car enthusiast deserves to finally find their equal whom enjoys motoring as much as they do.

hey, don't feel bad about that, I was using R-compound tires and you were on some street tires. and you haven't been on track for awhile. At least you got beat by a nsx, not a focus SVT(Don't ask.)

Congratulation on Heather's new addiction... One question though, was her CRV first gen or second gen? I bought my mom her 02, and till this day, I still amazed how well that car handles with those crapy BF goodrich tires.. ok, it's not a S2000, but I was "damn" impressed with it.

You are like 1000x better than me on influencing the other half, I couldn't even correct my wife's two hands on 2 o'clock steering after 3 years of marriage. As soon as i say something, it will surely a fight. And no, no matter how fast and better driver I proved to her, she never showing any interest on my track/kart day, nor thinks that she needs to listen to me. She will just say she'd never flying down 30mph corners at 80mph like i do all the time, with in laws and dogs at the back seat. She's a much safer driver anyway.
