Just got a '98, feeling so so....

First of all, I have a yellow 2002 ... and I love it! But lately, I've been craving white cars, ie white NSX, white M5 etc. I tried locating a new one but no luck.

Option 2, buy an older one and converted to an '02 look. I definetly got used to the "new" look. I found a white 1998 NSX, VERY clean and stock! So I got the ball rolling and I got it.

But now I'm thinking what a hassel to convert the headlights over.... seemed like a good idea at the time but the idea of hacking up the car is giving me an uneasy feeling.

Loving the white but not digging the old look.... $6000 plus labor for the front end conversion, plus god know how long it will be in the body shop...

I guess I can keep driving the yellow one until the white one gets done but... I don't know. Geez, I haven't even put 10 miles on the white one yet... oh, it has 73,000 miles with camel interior. I really wanted black!
Maybe get rid of the white one and hold off until I find a '04/ '05 white NSX.

What do you guys think? I'm having mixed/different feeling every 5 minutes!!!

I do not know how well you doing financially... but you just bought the 98 and now want to trade for the other one would make you loss whatever tax you paid TWICE. That alone is going to be more than the $6000 you'll spend for the front conversion.

I also don't see the reason of you want to buy another car just for the black carpet and seats. If you can spend $6000 on a front end conversion, you must be able to cough up another couple thousands for the blk interior conversion... Plus, you don't need brand new parts for most of it. And if you don't like an used so so condition OEM Seat, there's plenty of nice racing seat that will fit your bill.

May I also suggest that just put your 04 blk seat into the white and get a pair of Yellow recaros in your 04 ?? :biggrin:

I completely understand about "craving white cars".

There is a new white NSX at Pflueger Acura sitting on the showroom floor.
As I looked it over, I could almost swear I heard it say, "Buy Me!" :biggrin:

Oh, the yellow is a lease so tax is paid month to month not on the intire purchase price. The lease won't be over for another year but I'm on the upside so if I get rid of it now, I won't lose anything.

I actually accepted the camel interior, but it was just a little thing that bothered me. Who knows, I might like it :tongue:
