Hey all,

Just got a iPhone. This thing is incredible, much better than my old Treo 700wx. Just a few questions.

1)How do I get the music from my home CD collection on to the iPhone?
2)Once I get the music on iPhone, how do I play it in my car stereo or home stereo (don't have MP3 jacks)? I have cassette and CD in both. Cassette...yeah...don't laugh!!!
3)Is there someway to control how long the screen stays on during a call, it flick into dark mode when I call the bank (or any call), and then when I have to hit "1" for checking...there is no screen. What's the deal?
4)When I check visual voicemail, it flicks into dark mode and then I can't delete it, then I turn off the phone (upper right hand button), then turn it on, slide the bar over, delete, then go to next voicemail. Any easier way to do this?
5)Is there a way to enter in Contacts on iTunes and then sync it to iPhone?

Thanks!
John

1) When you put the CD into your computers drive it should present you with a list of choices. Close out of that and under one of the menu's iTunes will have an option labelled 'import' click that. Once you've done that with all your CD's, just hook up your phone, when the device page opens hit the music tab and check off which ones you want on your phone and hit sync.

2) I use an old fashioned cassette adapter that plugs into the head phone jack. $2.88 at Wal Mart and works great.

3&4) The screen should come back on once the phone is away from your face, make sure your fingers aren't covering the sensor. The sensor is above the screen to the left of the speaker. Maybe your case is blocking it also? Under a bright light you can see the sensors at the top, there should be three (I believe, it's been a while since I looked at my phone that hard)

5) Dunno, on that one sorry.

5. Simply enter the contact info into Outlook or OS X's address book; your contact list on your phone will update when you sync it.
