Selling a Kinetic Custom Machine Lightweight Battery Tray with Shorai Lithium Iron Battery. Comes with a Shorai charger for proper charging and maintenance of this Li battery. Also includes all hardware and is a direct bolt on to the NA1 chassis. No modification required.
The kit weights 7lbs total, compared to the OEM battery weight of 47lbs.
(Weight savings is 40lbs)
Tray is in great condition except for a small hole in the bottom of the tray (see photo). This was a manufacturing defect in making that area too thin, so it broke through. Does not affect strength or aesthetics as it is unseen on the bottom.
This tray and battery is Colin's personal setup (owner of KC Machine) and the battery is in perfect working condition and was always kept charged on occasions where the car was stationary for a period.
