Heard this on the radio where David H. will appear, but to "pass the torch" to some chump.

Wow apparently they didnt learn their lesson from the ummm lets call it an "experiment that went bad" named Knight Rider 2000! Gotta love used car salesman type folks that push to get funding for this kind of project, they are either really good, or the investors are really suckers. Oh well time will tell what becomes of this.

Have any of you actually watched the original series in a while?

I loved the show as a kid, but having seen it now through adult eyes it's absolutely amazing how truly awful that show was. Bad special effects, horrible acting, and "The Hoff" on top of it all.

I bought the DVD... Not seen it yet... But I don't doubt your experience, got the same feeling when I bought the DVD named "V" of that sci-fi aliens show some of you perhaps may know...

man, we need to see a AIRWOLF movie~!!!!

I love the show and I would watch the movie!

That looks like a photoshopped Koeniggezeeggg.

I remember that series! I thought it was fantastic back then. I'm sorry to hear that it doesn't hold up either.

Watching it again now. Yeah it's bad, but in a good way. Childhood memories come rushing back and all is well again. Kinda like Battlestar Galactica. Awesome even with repeated sfx and the seventies glow/wash prevelant. Even buck Rogers....but six million dollar man...oh boy. However, it did give us that wonderful bionic powers are go, noise. Keep the child in you alive!

Then there is this rumour about the new KITT.

+1 its a love hate thing
It was a good concept. A new movie with modern special effacts would be hot and somthing i would pay to see, and the CCX would be a nice touch:smile:

I would love to see it. It was my favorite show when I was a kid.
I guess that's how I learned English. Not through Sesame Stree, but Knight Rider.

Never forget the Hoff drove a red NSX in Baywatch Night!

Thanks for bringing up painful memories. Going to have to go wash my NSX now as it feels cheap and dirty....

The new TV show is going to use a Shelby Mustang GT500KR:

Just posted the rumour above, although now confirmed by many sites. The question now is where will the scanner be? Both pics are photoshopped. In the air dam is not a good idea, nor is the grill. Maybe in line with the indicators on the front bumper recessed in the same style, height? Photoshop ninja's?

Not the kinda car i had in mind (nice car, not for KITT though).

Then there is this rumour about the new KITT.
