I have a set of Kix/Bright Light Tech tail lamps. I just installed these and they work great but Richard is no longer around and he never modified my flasher to get rid of the hyperblink and or lights out indicator.

The problem is that his setup has a controller with potentiometers that adjust LED brightness in the path between the LED's and the factory harness leading to the flasher. I know you can install a resistor to do this, and I have bought 2 50-watt 5 ohm resistors for this but I am not sure of where to put them. I am afraid they will mess with the "controller" that he has. And if I do it at the flasher end, I am not sure which wires to go to.

I also don't know what to do with the tail lamp out indicator. Does anyone have a flasher modified by him? I will pay you to look inside it or borrow it for a day. Or if anyone else can help with either issue I would appreciate it.

I found a post that talked about grounding out I want to say it was a green with white stripe wire and that takes care of the bulb out on your dash. Do a search for converted to led brake light bulbs. Its a thread by operand. I don't know about the hyper flash with your tails. Hope that helps

The 91-99 circuits are different. Then the 99-02 are different, then the 04/05 are different. I bought an electrical manual and am amazed at the differences in so many different places.
