OK, got crazy & decided to go with a makeover to match the console, pod & door switch panels to body colour!
No Aerosol job this time - decided to go Pro & had Robert at Quality Autocraft in my home town of Pleasanton shoot them for me.

I'll re-shoot the pics in daylight after I return from vacation - they look a little bright in the pics from the flash & it doesn't do the colour justice.

Ken-

I am AMAZED at your skills...awesome awesome job...hopefully this will be exactly what MINE will look like for CES this year...and if EVER you want to go back to stock, I will SWAP ALL MY PARTS with yours + Cash of course or a set of CDT 07s :).

Mike

Looks great Ken, but then again, I may be a bit biased.....

As always, you've done a top notch job. I know what you mean about the way the red shows up in photos. All my photos make the red look bright red due to the flash, while in reality, its much more subdued.

Hi Dan - long time no hear! Nice to see your beautiful job again - honestly I had completely forgotten you had gone this route, or I may have looked up your detailed thread again for reference! \
But as we both agree, I'm not sure I would make that decision off pics - it has to be seen "live" to be appreciated.
Another one that inspired more recently was Random Harmony's - when working on his console, I wasn't crazy about it, seeing it as a stand-alone piece: but when you see it installed with all the contrasting dark pieces (vent grill, A/C, H/U, shift boot etc) it all comes together much differently visually.
I also had seen a yellow recently - the whole car & interior pieces weren't spa yellow, more of a custom flake but I did like the overall effect. Jonathan's silver is particularly nice - one of the best complementary colours w/o being as "loud" as the red.

Ken that looks very clean. I can't wait to see it in person. For sure at Marin Acura Right? Michael
As an aside, do you have a clone? Where the heck do you find the time for all this stuff?

There is a point when mods reach the "Rice-A-Roni" stage. Painted consoles might work in a Honda Civic or a Mitsu Evo but in my opinion diminish the image of exclusivety that the NSX conveys.
