look for NSX in Hong Kong

There are NONE currently advertised in any web-site etc. best to contact Tommy Li @ HK Motoring Workshop and spread the news. BTW, what year/trans./$$ you have in mind???

Good Luck on the search. I have gone thru the same road but fail.

Why is it so hard to register an old car in Hong Kong? I'm just curious.

Henry.

Because it has to pass the EURO4 emission and car has to be less than 7 years old normally. If it is a classic car which is old than 20 years, the emission is much more easy.......

to drive a LHD car in HK you will need valid China plate/registration etc. its very costly and generally issues to people with real investments in China. also the plates are issued to new car only and need to be renewed on an annual basis. you can buy a LHD NSX and use it on the race track there. there are 2 avaliable right now. while in HK, Vin's Motors curently selling a black '92 for HK$ 200k. take a look before its gone and NSX are now back in vogue. as to bringin in any NSX from Japan and having it registered in HK, good luck and you will not passed emission or safety. there are many LHD/RHD exotics running on dealer plates to bypass that and also paying the 100% import duties but its getting pretty difficult also. dealer plates are not insured up to the true value of the vehicle and police are curtailing such soon.
