Looking for an exhaust that has a deep tone, especially at idle

I hope that the Owner Discussion forum is the right place for this.

I recently bought my '97 NSXT-T. It's a little disappointing at idle. I wish it was a good amount louder and deeper.

And, unlike other posts, I'm looking for a much deeper sounding exhaust. Not an attempt at a Formula One shriek.

But the car already sounds good after 3 or 4k on the tach. I really don't want drone at highway speeds. It's already enough to always turn the radio volume down when coming to a s top from speed.

Any hints on what I would be looking for? More boom at idle, not a lot more at higher revs, and pretty easy to fit myself.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

If you ever see an old RM racing unit that may do the trick..

I have one that RM(Billy Boat) refurbished under warranty. Never re-installed, still in the box. I got a GT-ROm ver 5.1 and left that on.

We have the RM Racing (quad-tip) muffler on our red NSX with the stock cats, and it truly gives a nice deep tone.....even at startup.
