Anyone have pics of the first type r nsx by chance? I did some searching and didn't find a ton of info on it. I think there was one in japan back in 92, am I right? Also, what's the full story and specs on that particular year (if there was one like I'm thinking  )

I have a book dedicate to the said NA1 R, what exactly are you looking for??

Where did you get this book?? You can PM me the details if you wish. Thanks.

I was more or less curious about visually what makes it different. Rims, seats, spoilers? etc. I'm also curious what were the exact years of production of all types of type-r's. I've seen everything from 92, 95, the 2002+, some clarification would be cool. I read the part in the faq, but just am more curious. Someday I'd like to buy a 92 white and try to recreate one to as close as possible, therefore it'd be nice to know what parts are required.

No Diff. on Spoiler or body mods, to be specific.
3.0 Blue printed Engine with 5 speed.
Special light weight 5 spokes wheels by Enkei. Same diameter and width.
The one that set the trend that Type R cars equipped with white light weight rims.
Special Seat made by Recaro, steering wheel by momo. Suede/cloth/alchantara(someone help me with spelling) with red stitch interior (another "type R" DNA).
Stiffer suspension with less oversteering tendency. (however, drift king comment the understeering is actually dangerous on canyon driving for Amateur.)
I will check the book when I'm home and reply to you later. When I have time, maybe I can make some photo copy or scanning for you to read, as I don't understand japanese.

Meeyatch1, the book is a gift from my best freind, and apparently he had that book in his book shelf for more than 10 years in the original bag!

As NSXDreamer2, mentioned they were Enkei (not sure what model, but they look similar to RP01) in 15x6.5 and 16x8.0 size (same as the wheels of the then current NSX).

Here’s a picture from the November 1992 press release:
