Is it just me or is anyone else noticing there are many new members recently posting. I am seeing a lot of basic questions which make me look at the poster and I see a ton of posters with post counts in double digits. I've never seen so many as I have in the past month or so. Anyone else notice this?

I have noticed it too. A lot of new owners as well. I love Prime, cause its not like most car forums. The people seem a lot more...mature/laid back. I just hope it stays that way even with the influx of new members.
now that you mention it yes, i agree, if civility is maintained, it'll stay a nice neighbourhood.
Yep, I've noticed lots of 2011/2012 members.
Especially here in SoCal:biggrin: There has to be at least 20 new owners and even more members to join prime since last summer.

Maybe the announcement of the new NSX has stirred up some interest of the current (old) one.

New members = new blood and ideas so it's a good idea, as long as they are civilized and mature.
Well the folks on Prime do have a fair share of people with ultra sensitive feewings too.

A good example of new blood and ideas is L_RAO. Came in here two years ago, everyone critiquing him on his questions and ideas, and look what he did. Created the RDX injector mod for the NSX which to me seem like the most bang for your buck mod you can do for the NA NSXs. I hope there is more to come.
I think traffic definitely picked up following announcement of the new NSX, and for the most part the new blood has been a positive contribution to the site. I do miss a lot of older members who post less frequently though. I've been on a lot of NSX drives over the years, and most of the participants are no longer active members of this site. :frown:
Not only have I noticed alot of newbies but alot of the older guys seem to be slowing down with their activity here on Prime, myself included. :frown:

Yeah less activity by the older guys. Although they are mostly around in the track section. It is so refreshing once in a while to read a thread where every post is knowlegable and informative and about a real issue, not a bunch of silly arguments and half-baked ideas stated as fact. The track section of this forum is my favorite, because it is a lot less nonsense and has great input.
I tell you I am really missing Billy lately.
