I was watching the A/B run groups at Road America, and there was a RED NSX (body-colored roof IIRC) that was very LOUD.

Listening to this car blast up the hill (5 to 6), it was clearly the loudest of the streetable-looking NSXs there.

Does anyone know of this car, or is the owner here? I'd be interested in finding out what system he/she is running.

BTW -- great sounds from several cars, IMO:
- Alex V's Gruppe-M car
- Chris W (Science of Speed) -- Taitec center-exit ?

Of course, neither one quite came close to good old #42. Watching Peter's car spit flames as he heel-toe downshifted into 5, 6, 12 and 13 was definitely a treat...

You're referring to Ben B's turbo car.

Ben runs a straight-out exhaust, and it was louder than Peter's car!!! Is this video available online?

Loud red one? As has been eluded, it is likely mine. DC headers, comptech bypass pipes, aerodyne turbos, 2.5" exhaust, dual 2.5" non resonated DTM tips. I think it's a stretch to believe it is even close to emitting the dB of the Realtime NSX, but from outside the cabin it certainly has an "aggressive" sound. Surprisingly, inside the cockpit, though heard, it is not obtrusive IMO. Certainly would not be my recommendation on a daily driver--your neighbors wouldn't like you very well.

Here is a pic of the car that Lud so graciously captured:

I had a wonderful time at NSXPO. My sincere gratitude to all who made it possible. I hope to see you all in TX. (BTW, anyone know the dB parameters there?) :-)

Looking for 76-79 Honda Accords

They are polished Enkei RPO1's 17x8, 18x10 running 215/40, 265/35s. I tried 235/40s up front, and rubbed. I am uncertain if they will clear big brakes. Ask me again in a few months, as I will have likely upgraded by then. I am still looking at the various options. Anyone with suggestions?
