Agreed. An essentially no mileage Imola Orange over orange leather is a unicorn.

the prices are bringing out the sellers...as a buy and hold however I can think of other ways to double your money in less than 16 years....

Yeah, all the nice NSX's that were in storages over the years are coming to BAT. These car's have been over looked for years, and they are now being appreciated for their Value and Engineering...an all aluminum body and frame, with Titanium con rods that revs to 8200 RPM. an exotic in it own way with Engineering first!!

That is the collector car market...you flush the pristine low production specimens with escalating $...then these sit in collections until they trickle in to the big auctions over time..

The guy says, "Is it striking enough to spend $245,000 on an NSX when more typical examples sell for closer to $50,000 on the same website?"

Apparently he didn't actually look at the data he linked to.

Here's a graph of 2002-2005 NSX sales on BaT in the last year, I don't see a lot of cars selling for "closer to $50,000."
