Magnetic Transmission drian plug..

I'm sure this has been discussed to some extent, but what is the thoughts on the value of a magnetic transmission drain plug? I have the engine and it does pick up some debris and items so I feel its that much less running around in the engine.

The Spoon Mag Transmission plug comes to mind:

There is already a magnet placed inside of the transmission close to the oil pump. And there is even a small filter which can be pulled out for maintenance.
