I just finished watching the "Ultimate Factories" series that talked about the Maserati factory in Italy.

I'm not so sure about their older cars but the newer ones like the GranTurismo does have beautiful lines. The engine is made by Ferrari and transmission from MB I believe. So what you guys think about this brand and any hands-on experience with reliability and driving feel, etc.?

I'm a fan of the GranTurismo myself. I think it is an absolutely beautiful car and one of my top favorite 3 GT cars (#1 is Aston Martin DBS, then the GranTurismo, followed by the Jag XKR w/speedpack).

I found this on the reliability.. Most repairs seem to be minor nuisances, but seem like they'd would definitely be costly out of warranty..

The GranTurismo is on my short list for the next fun car. It's really is a beautiful car. The interior is just perfect!

My friend has had a Quatrarope (can't remember how to say it nor spell it) and its definitely a fun car, the exhaust note is intoxicating.

Overall the car has been an extreme money pit for him, stuff breaks left and right.

Wow do those cars lose their value or what? Probably because they are expensive to own without a warranty.

They aren't too bad. You gotta know what to look for, what models to avoid, and where to get it serviced. They are a real bargain. I wouldn't get one as a daily but they are sweeeeet cars.

That's what happened, it ran out of warranty on his watch, so now he's stuck.
