This Furai concept is really interesting... Maybe Mazda said, "Well, Nissan came out with GTR, Toyota with LFA, Honda is planning a next NSX, so maybe we should build a high end sports car too..."

Looks like little bit same gategory cars like Lotus Elise, Opel Speerster and kind of that cars?

Hm you're right.. bit 'elise-ish' but no lookalike like the BMW 3-coupe and the Audi A5 or the new Jag XK and that Aston Martin.

Wow I didn't know they had a working model. When I first saw pics of this I assumed it was a design only concept. Its different I will give it that. The side profile looks like a life size RC car. :biggrin:

I like the concept; has a Zonda-like look to it. I'm sure most of it will be toned down if it ever goes into production, but the direction they are heading looks good.

Great looking car, 3-rotor, push-rod suspension, chassis from a LMP prototype, unfortunately its just a concept car to showcase the direction of Mazda's design, not meant for production like the GTR and RX8 concepts were.

...really wish they would build this supercar :frown:



Heck, I just want to drive that prototype!

Shyeah, right. I feel like jumping boats in purchasing my next car. At least I will have enjoyed another super car for a few years, whether or not an NSX successor ever comes to fruition. I will not let the next Great Honda become my Great Pumpkin.
