I'm wondering why mods don't merge topics that are the same here? Here is an example from today. TIA.

I'm wondering why mods don't merge topics that are the same here?

Sometimes they do. But they have to be aware of such instances in order to do something about it. Believe it or not, they don't read every word posted here. You can ensure that they take a look at this (or any other) situation if you post a report it by clicking on the icon under one of the posts, the one that looks like this:

For duplicate topics, including a link to the website address for the other (not reported) topic will help.

There is one "mod" for everything but the marketplace. I don't read every (or even most) messages posted on here.

If a thread needs moderator action, use the "Report this post" function so I know about it. And as nsxtasy said, if the issue is two threads that need to be merged, please provide the link to the other thread in your report message.
