Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

Yes, people took their car from the Big Show and the side shows all weekend to Woodward and back.

The entry fee also included entrees, drink tickets, and all the soft drinks and water that you wanted.

Spotted Formula Red 91-94 which appeared to be completely stock on Ford rd and Beech Daly in Dearborn Heights. I interrupted the wife’s story to me yelling NSX NSX, let’s just say that was an uncomfortable ride home lol

Haha, same reaction here the rare times I see one in the wild. Also with any Preludes....still a sucker for those as a former owner of a 4th gen.

I passed a red NA1 with a black roof on Adams and Gunn road about 3pm today, was that anyone from here?

I've seen a black car around Beck Rd. in Northville over the past month.

Saw a fresh plated white Gen 2 car in downtown Ann Arbor that I followed home on M14.

Anxiously awaiting the fall colors to arrive which calls for another scamper to Chelsea:eek:nthego:

Any Michiganders have their Type S on reserve??!!

I saw a white NC1 on Tienken Rd in Rochester Hills just after lunch today, is it someone here? First time I've seen a new one that wasn't at an event or drive with me.

Thanks to Ryan's recommendation, we took the purple beast to PURE Tuning in Toledo (http://www.pure-tuning.com/pages/company/location.htm).
Aaron was great working with us to lay down a new tune to fix our early cold-start stumble issue (too rich!)
He also found that we weren't getting our proper VTEC-YO, so traced that problem back to a couple wonky sub-harness pins....so once fixed unleashed an extra 60WHP :excitement:
So, the car has gone from just really fast to now once again sCaRy fast

Life is good!

Hi folks; I received the following message from the Events Team at M1 Concourse. I know it's some time away, but thinking about summer is a good thing! And FREE is mentioned.... one of my favorite F-Words! The event is being tweaked from last year's event quite a bit, and more to come, I am sure.

Hello Michigan Members at NSX Prime!

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, during the Woodward Dream Cruise, The M1 Concourse in Pontiac, MI will open our facility to invited Car Clubs, members, and their cars for the entire day. All clubs and cars will be on display in our Arena and around the M1 Circuit. We are creating car club corrals for invited car club members on both Friday, August 19 & 20. There is no fee for the corral space and no charge for participation. We are extending the opportunity to your club to join The M1 Concourse and celebrate the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend!

Additionally, for 2022, M1 Concourse is organizing a Woodward Dream Parade during The Woodward Dream Show on Saturday morning, August 20, for invited Car Club members to participate. The Woodward Dream Parade is for car owners to enjoy a safe and controlled experience cruising Woodward Ave. Pontiac residents and business owners will be able to enjoy a ‘rolling display’ of unique automobiles driving through the historic City.

The Parade will comprise of 200 club member cars and will start at 11am from M1 Concourse. The group will depart from the M1 Concourse Woodward Avenue entrance and with law enforcement escort on Woodward Avenue around the Pontiac Loop and through the downtown area returning to M1 Concourse along Woodward Avenue.

M1 Concourse will open at 8am on Saturday morning for Car Club members to begin arriving. For those club members participating the Parade, we will start pre-staging the cars at approx. 10am for a 11am departure. We are asking each club to select ten of their members cars to participate in the Woodward Dream Parade.

We would like to invite your Car Club to both participate in Woodward Dream Parade and to enjoy the day at M1 Concourse. If you are interested, please email either myself Meagan Spurr [email protected] or our car selection committee at [email protected].

We participated in this last year on the Friday (thanks Patrick), and it was a blast.

Maybe we should get together and bring a few NSX's (we were the only one that day) and do this as a group for 2022?

That is exactly what I'm thinking...

Hey all, I've moved away from Michigan now, but still keeping track of the goings on.
Have fun at the Woodward event. I'll send some buddies over that still live in the area.

Oh, and I forget if I've ever posted this or not, but before I moved away from the DTW area, my car was featured in a Yooz Toobz (along with a few other JDM classics). Have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=IOjXGiDETQA

Your efforts and work to set this up are appreciated, PJR300.

Unfortunately, cannot attend or show there that weekend....
