FYI - so far about 70% have indicated they will attend the MidEast NSX Meet - rain or shine!!
Hello all, we have been carefully watching weather forecasts for the upcoming MidEast NSX Meet. I have been trying to avoid using the “R” word, but right now the weatherman is showing 60% chance of rain on Friday and 50% on Saturday. And unfortunately the days preceeding and after our event dates are also forecast for rain....so any expectation that the forecast rain slips one way or the other is slim.
While the majority of our weekend events provide an indoor experience (Rush Hour Karting, Road Scholars -restoration shop and showroom tour - Richard Petty Museum tour), the overall event experience would be dampened (excuse the pun) by rain.
However, after some soul searching with the organizing committee, we have decided to proceed with the event at this time.....leaving it up to individual attendees to decide on their own to cancel or not.
If between now and Wednesday morning the forecast becomes more severe, we will reconsider a possible cancellation.
Those of you coming from out-of-town...the hotel reservations have a 48 hour cancellation policy so you will need to decide by Wednesday.
Notify the hotel by 3pm on Wednesday, May 16th.
If you have any issues with your room cancellation, please contact Ryan Tillquist at the hotel.
