We had a fantastic day yesterday at the abandoned airport, we were 4 NSX among a sea of Vettes and others ... I was the only N/A -exhaust + pipes- .. the other 3 were 2 supercharged (onestepx + another 3.0) and one Turbo (arfnsx) ... their times vary, would rather wait for them to post their speeds + videos ...

I had 3 runs and by my GPS one was 153mph - 151 - 150 ... still the event has to confirm out speeds, but seems like they were off by a bit ...

looks like someone needs to clean up a little  looks like fun!!

Was there a Twin Turbo Blk lambo there ?

No lambos or Ferraris ... there was ONE Fcar but was parked ...

OK "Official times" are here:

======================================================
2001 Honda NSX 3.2 liter Turbo = 153.882 162.266

1992 Honda NSX Supercharged = 133.52 157.998 160.942

1992 Honda NSX Supercharged = 156.987 158..014 154.2 157.183 157.386 157.128 155.832 178.53 155.453 158.314 157.402 156.474

1997 Honda NSX 3.2 liter = 147.715 146.294 147.075

=====================================================

But still 99.9% of the people there are scratching their heads about the GPS numbers vs the event numbers, not that is a big deal but mine had 153 on my first run ... anyways, it was a FUN day!

Any numbers on some of the other cars you pictured? I'd like to know what that shifter kart did!

Just watched the vid. That helmet isn't going to do you much good in a 150 mph wreck if it's not buckled!

Safety first my friend!

OH yes, here's the link:

Definitely across the other car forums the numbers are 4mph less of what they really are ...

The guy on the shifter had a flat .. spun .... still he came back and rocked ... that engine was a Yamaha ... what amazed me was the motorcycle guys doing well over 200mph .. and the one supra doing 199mph (probably 204mph) like nothing ...

Yeah, the helmet wasn't mine and I couldn't figure out how to buckle it .. actually had 2 helmets borrowed that day since I decided a minute B4 the parade lap to participate) ... honestly that runway was designed for the supersonic project, there's HUGE room in both sides if anything goes wrong .. and the last thing i think is about "dying" or the possibilities of it -of course tire pressure + fluids + the integrity of my car etc are a huge priority for me .... on the note, the helmet was completely glued to the headliner in both runs... so I don't thing that was going to be flying in any case ... come on .. let's be positive.

It was great to meet you Oscar! Your car looked great, can't wait to pick mine up!

That looks fun, the nsx actually endded up hitting higher speeds than I expected. But damn that supra broke 200mph in the standing mile, that thing must be making close to 1000whp.

Great Photos Oscar!

Great Pleasure meeting you and the other NSX owners (and the yellow Boxster too!) I am glad we got you signed up and you got to run.

I had my tank 85% full since I wasn't planing to run, you think I could improve my speed with less than a 1/4 of a tank?

Here is the shifter kart spin during his run. Guy has a pair on him.

OH MY .... yeah, that guy was cool, maybe English or Australian ..

Thanks to you man!! :)

Can't wait to see your footage, and I can't address enough how good your car looks!!

Terrell was indeed a great day, please asks us any questions regarding the NSX :) ... my best wishes in your quest!

Wow interesting results. I am surprised how close all the NSX's were. I know Luis is running a BBSC, what was the other supecharger setup? Pretty impressive for your NA to be right up there.
Also I am happy to see the lens covers tested at speeds like that....maybe it was the extra aero that helped you to those speeds.

I was surprised to see how all of the forced inducted cars were all close in speeds.

Luis was the BBSC

Brians was Comtech SC with 8lbs pulley

Mine was the Lovefab Stage 1 turbo with slipping clutch

and Oscar with a great sounding exhaust (what setup is that anyway)

Based on your Excel sheet, I think the 178.53 is a misprint.
Excellent video though. Looks like a lot of fun.
Did your windows do the helicopter effect as you got to the top end? Mine start doing it around 120mph. .

They do, actually only the right window @ 120 starts .. went all the way to 172 ... and noise just keeps going ... :(

Did he miss-shift? Or was it because he took his hand off the wheel to shift?

He had a FLAT!!!!!!!!!! ----- which is even MORE CRAZY!!

^^^^ Wow, I guess he must've exceeded the speed rating on those tires.

I think we just found the most unique nsx wheel choice on prime:wink: I'm talking about those lambo like bunch-o-holes:eek:
