My car is leaking on the inside!

The last three days have been raining and my car is collecting water inside! It looks like water is coming in where the grey weather stip touches the leather arm rest pad on the drivers side. Then the water just kinda pools under the carpet beneath the drivers side. It's happening on the passenger side too, just not as much. Anyone ever experience this too? Any suggestions other than don't drive it in the rain? It stopped raining now so it's not happening anymore...but now my car smells inside

Scrub your carpets with a a disinfectant and get them dry ASAP. Use a shop vac to pull the water out.

As for the leaks, follow the water flow backwards from the floor to the entrance points into the car. Once you identify the leak sources, you can diagnose the problem.
