Volk GT-C wheels in custom gold.

I purchased these second hand from another NSX owner that is changing to wide-body. They are 18/19 and in very nice condition.

**I want to thank TBell for all his assistance in my wheel search. Had I not stumbled upon these, I was going to order from TBell to get my new wheels and tires. He has been very helpful! His prices and service come highly recommended!

TBell, I will need tires from you when these rears wear out...**

What do you guys think of the gold color, versus the traditional Volk GT-C colors?

I like the gold with the black, definitely.

Did Oscar at First Class hook you up with the previous owner? He actually gave me the heads up on these when I was there, but I'm trying hard to avoid a 18/19 set-up. If I remember correctly they came with Toyos. Ideally I would like a 17/18 set-up. How harsh is the ride compared to the 17/17 set-up that you were running?

I'd be interested in what kind of Toyos you've got, and your thoughts on them.

Is it too much bling? :frown:

Do YOU like it, if so, don't worry what others think. Personally, I don't care for the "gold", but like I said, it's your car, enjoy it, don't worry if others think it has too much bling, they don't own it!!!

Exactly what I was thinking.

This look isn't remotely my taste but I don't own the car. If you like it, enjoy it. Who cares what anyone else thinks?

I'm contemplating on getting my second set of wheels in gold or black chrome. Now that I see them on your car, I'm sold. Even though the 18/19 combo is totally impractical, they look fantabulously hot!!! Just having the car is a bling factor, so the wheels just make it more "blingier"

I am not sure I like them yet.

I am on the fence, so that is the reason for my inquiry on other's opinions...
You just bought a set of Volk wheels and you're not sure if you like them? I wish I had your disposable income! If you make up your mind that you don't like those wheels, come and talk to me.

I like them. In fact, I was considering some gold center wheels for my Spa Yellow. I've done all the full polish, gun metal, silver, etc but have never had gold. If the car is lowered and on the right color, gold looks more tuner/racing rather than bling. In this sense, chome is more bling.

The contrast on the black may be a little strong for some as opposed to gold on white or blue (which is already in people's subconcience with WRX's) but if you lower the car I'm sure it will look menacing and purposeful.

BTW, on GT4 there is a sleek 4 wheel drive McLaren looking car that is red with some nice gold wheels that are clearly for performance, not bling.

Did anyone take a look at his car w/ his previous rims:

IMO, he's nuts. I think the 02 rims are the absolute best rims for this car. I think they give the car that sophisticated and exotic sports car look. Unfortunately, I don't own an NSX yet, but I'm working on it and as soon as I get one, I'll be adding these 02 rims.

Of course, that's the great thing about cars, rims, and everything else in life. Everyone's different and everyone has their own opinions. I'm sure many people think the seven spoke rims are just ordinary, since so many of the NSX's have them, and I'm sure a lot of people want their car to standout and look different.

Anways, just my two cents.

I am not a fan of gold rims in general.

That said, I think they look as good as gold rims are ever going to look on an NSX, so if gold is what you want I think you have a winner.

Great touch, those rims are very hot!

Distance Runner,
This is just for comparing Gun Metal to your Gold. Mine are only 17-18 though. I still like your Gold but tend to like mine just a little better...JMO

17x8-35 off with 215-40-17
18x10-38 off with 265-35-18

Eibach-Koni's

The driveway slopes down so the car is not sitting flat it looks higher on that side but it really isn't.

Nice I like !
Very similar to what I'm getting.
My custom GTC's are coming in 3 weeks for my widebody.

Warren,

I think the rims look very nice. I bet they look better in person and seeing your car go down the road

ICBW, but aren't those the rims that JadeCrew NSX used to have? Those rims look even bettter with the MH sideskirts and WW lip....just my .02

NSX 3.0 - Do your wheels rub? I just ordered the same size and offset and was wondering. My suspension is stock.

Do not rub at all. The only reason for the 35 off in front is my Stoptech BBK. Hope you got them from T Bell at RP Motorsports the best prices around.
