Congratulatons Sidney!!!

Sidney does meticulous work, like it was his own NSX (or whatever your fancy). I am delighted by his workmanship on my car & equally impressed by those of the fellow NSX'rs, who I'm sure will echo this endorsement. He's a great guy too!!!!

Sidney, can you make it by the meet this Saturday? I know its a busy work day, but maybe you can break out for 90 mins or so to see us for lunch.
Good luck with the new enterprise!!!!!

p.s. small world - met your cousin(in-law?) at the Ford dealer the other day!

Hey Ken,
I have 4 cars to tint on Saturday in Fremont and if I can sneak away, believe me I will try. One of my customer wants to see my Audi S4 because he has an A4 and wanted to look at how I tinted mine. If I don't get my car back from Audi service on Friday, I will drive the NSX to work and try and meet you guys for lunch.
My wife's cousin just started working at the Ford dealership in Pleasanton/Dublin, Shamrock Ford if I am not mistaken. If anyone is thinking about purchasing a Ford, ask for Ron Wong and tell him Sidney sent you. Small world isn't it.
If I can't make it for Saturday's lunch, maybe you and some of the guys can cruise by and check out my new shop. Always have time for my friends!

Hey Sid - Yahoo doesn't like direct links so red x's are appearing now (although I saw pics earlier) - upload them directly in 2 seperate posts (you can now attach directly from your local hard-drive) or use ImageStation.
Only thing is you can't attch pic directly with an edit - only in the original post. So delete the links in your first post edit, then add 2 replies with one pic attched directly to each (see just above the "submit reply button" just below the main text field) for the browse field to locate local file for attachment.

Yes, it was Ron - nice guy too! Isn't networking great?

I can certainly echo this endorsement! I've known Sid for over 10 years now, and he is one who is meticulous and cares about his customers and friends. I have all my cars tinted by him and the quality and workmanship is flawless.

Congratuations on your new shop!

-Steve

I had Sidney tint my NSX and my CLK, both turned out great!

I definitely echo the endorsements and would go back again if my Hummer didn't already have tinted windows :D

Sidney, I spoke to you about the clear bra. Are you thinking of doing it? I'm still interested and may get my car back from the shop in a week or two.

Hey Ken,
Still having a hard time deciding if I want to get into the clear bra paint protection. Like I mentioned, if you mess it up, you will need to order another piece from the distributor. Wish I could just cut it like window film. The amount of time that it would take for me to put on a kit would be anywhere from 2-5 hours and I find it hard to spend that much time as I can probably tint 2-3 cars within that same period of time. I have been very busy lately because of the warmer weather and will stay really busy until about mid October. If you want me to give it a shot, I would consider helping you then. Probably won't really charge you as it will be more of a learning experience for me. Talk to you later.

Hi. What is this clear bra? Who makes it and do you have pictures of it???? Just wondering... Thanks.

Hey Syd!

Did you close down the other shop all together or do you now have two locations? The new shop looks great!

Still have both shops. My main shop is:
California Sunscreen
3013 Teagarden Street
San Leandro, CA 94577
(510)483-8468
I opened the Fremont location under Auto Mall Tint Factory so that the book keeping doesn't get messed up. Also since I am right off Auto Mall Parkway and the Auto Mall car dealerships are right down the street, that gave me the idea of the new name.
Did you pick up an NSX yet? The prices are definitely dropping down to the affordable range. Just have to find the right one is the hard part. Give me a call some time.

I had Sidney tint my NSX today (50%) and the work is nothing less than perfect. Sidney took his time and echoing Ken's comments, was very meticulous. I plan to have my wife's CL-S done soon by Sidney. My thanks to his helper Stan too.

While I was there, I got to meet some other nice folks too, and a new NSX owner, Jay. Jay bought a 96' a couple of months ago and stopped in to have his windows tinted too. Jay's NSX started out in life as Green, but was repainted yellow. His car is a little rough, but he plans to give it a new life starting with some new wheels which should arrive in a couple of weeks. He plans to attend the NSX meet in July or soon there after.

Anyway, it was a very nice way to spend a Saturday. I highly recommend Sidney for your tinting needs. Thanks Sidney!
