I have one of the first portable navigation systems. It is a CD device that can be carried from car to car. It does not have or use a screen-because it talks to you. You tell it what you want to do and it then gives you the instructions. The map is probably about 2001. So if you want the most up to date roads it won't cut it. When it was new it sold for about $2000. I am looking for $75.00. I don't have all the commands but know many. It is kind of cool as a system. It is kept out of sight and you just talk to it to start the process. Comes with the unit which can be remoted located plus the gps antenna, mic and speaker.
