All of you guys in NC, listen up. I am putting the finishing touches on a proposal for NSXPO 2009 together. It's due this Thursday. If you are willing & able to help with actual legwork (phone, emails, running around maybe) should it get picked, PM me with your info. I will stick your name on the planning committee list of the proposal. So far it's me, John Komar, and Tom (Tomcat). Event will be HQ'd in Greensboro. Thanks for any help you can provide. PM me for details.

Is there a road track in Greensboro? Just a question. I would love to have a reason to come back to North Carolina.

Best to all of you guys.

Yes, San Francisco is WONDERFUL. A lady I am dating and I did a road trip down to Santa Barbara last week. It was great. That being said, I scrape the chin ALL the time.

Doug

Doug,
Glad to see you are monitoring our activities back here. Make sure you let us know ahead of any trips you plan back here!

For the proposed 2009 NSXPO track days, we plan to use VIR as the track location. It's actually very close to Greensboro or Raleigh (1and 1/2 hours). I've never personally seen the track, but from what I'm told it's a beautiful road course. And fly in attendees could arrive in either RDU or the Triad. Tony is super enthused about this and taking the lead on the proposal. I'm sure we can get sufficient participation from the NC owners group here.

Yeah, Count me in as well, I am all for that. As if you had to ask

Mirrored & Mills- if you're in check your PM inbox. I need full names & contact info.

I will help. I still have lots of NSX contacts from the DC area. (I moved from there 2 years ago). VIR is an awesome track- and is very car-friendly, with large run-off areas and relatively few concrete barriers compared to many tracks. I would think we could get many NSXers to track their cars at this venue.

Did your son (Tanner right?) get any good pictures last Saturday?

HAHA Tom, I have been so swamped.. let me check his camera and see what he got. I will throw some in the thread if he got some that are visible. He couldn't quit talking about you guys, took him 3 days i think to calm down. lol

sorry for the thread hijacking..

carry on

Check your pm. Need your email.

Hey guys!

I am new to the NSX world ... well John (99NCNSX) knows me and we have been in contact. I will have my 96 black T back on the road in 3-4 weeks, so count me in on the NSXPO in Greenboro in 09. All my inlaws live there so I am deffinately in!

As far as helping, I will be more then happy to give you all a hand, but I am not sure what I will be able to do from Eastern, NC (New Bern).

As far a VIR goes ... I have a friends that race thier M3's there all the time and they love that track. I think it would be great for the trackers.

Mirror ... the Hanging Rock ride would be great for the non trackers. I'd be in on that ride for sure not to mention my wife would love it too.

Nonetheless, I look forward to meeting you all and if there is anything I can contribute, please let me know. I will definately be at a few meets this spring/summer, especially in the RDU area or if any of you decide to come out to the coastal areas.

I'll keep looking at the posts and I also need to thank John for keeping me informed about all the meets.

Chat with you all soon...

Darrin
