Removal of the skirts is pretty straight forward
- from memory:
1) remove the step trim panel with your VIN # by just popping it up at the outside edge;
2) remove the self-tapping screws at front & rear of the skirt
3) Apply force with your hand on the rear-most part of the skirt (by the rear fender well) towards the front of the car; the skirt should move forward a 1/2" or so
4) Lift skirt off the body
5) With skirt off the car, remove clips by rotating 45deg
To re-install stock skirt, fit the clips in the car sill rather than the skirts, then just push the skirt onto them (with skirt in "normal" as opposed to "forward" position) till they snap into position.
