We've updated the popular ScienceofSpeed AEM Series 2 EMS to take advantage of the new firmware's FlexFuel and Engine Safety functions.
The updated firmware allows:
To take advantage of these features, all ScienceofSpeed AEM Series 2 EMS now come with 02v02 calibrations for factory engine, ITB induction, supercharged, and turbocharged applications. Included is updated calibration with FlexFuel and Engine Safety functions pre-configured. These well-sorted out calibrations get you up and running sooner and save your tuner time - all calibrations were tested and developed on the NSX individually. In order to also allow easy installation: 1991-94 application comes with a pre-wired accessory harness which includes VTEC, wide band O2, FlexFuel, fuel pressure, oil pressure, and oil temperature inputs. 1995-05 applications wire in with provided terminals. All applications include an ECU that is pre-configured for ScienceofSpeed for all these inputs, including oil temperature, with no additional modification required!
Customers with existing ScienceofSpeed AEM Series 2 EMS can easily upgrade to take advantage of these features at no additional cost (please contact ScienceofSpeed).

- Engine Safety: advanced motorsports ECU quality options now allow engine protection against unsafe coolant temperature, air-fuel ratio, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and oil temperature. EMS will automatically limit engine speed if programmable thresholds are exceeded. Kit includes through wiring instructions and setup instructions (along with a sample calibration) to take advantage of these features.
