New owner looking for rims

Looking for some volks on my 92 blk/blk that I just received. New to the nsx world so I've spend countless weeks on this website looking at question and answers. Anyways I contacted vivid racing for rims.. would like ce28sl or ze40 volks.

17x8.5 +45 face 2
18x9.5 +35 face 3

This is the set up they said volk has to fit my car with no rub issues or spacers needed. Worried it's different from what I have read on here this past month and want to know if it will fit. Front tire seems wide and don't want to stretch a 215/40/17. Also would a 265/35 rear tire still fit on a 9.5 rim. Any help would be appreciated. Tried to post picture of new

i have a set of Axis Reverb wheels that the specs are 17x7.5 +42mm 18x9.5 +40mm that i thought id use but never got around to. Also i am running a 265/30/19 as my rears are 19x9.5 +25mm and it fits perfectly! PM me if youd like images of the AXIS wheels!

17x8.5 +45 would be wide, and 215/40/17 on that wheel will look really stretched. If you go for 225, it will rub the inner fender liner at full lock.

Many owners here would go for 17x7.5 or 17x8, with 215/40/17.

That's what I have read so far.. I'd rather more tire then rim
