No nsx driver is this stupid!!

first of all, it's not in US, from the signs and little "lunch" karts, I believed it's in Taiwan... I agreed it's kind of dumb and almost noone does that in US. (which is good)

It's entertaining though, and it's 100x more watchable than kids drag racing straight line and crash (aka Street Racing in US)

I see guys doing this on mountain roads in so cal a lot. Pretty dangerous when they cross the lines and a truck is heading straight at them. Occasionally they go over the cliffs too or run straight into the side of the mountain when the brakes lock up. Usually they are guys with front wheel drive cars that are going too fast with bad brakes.

Frankly if I'm going to die doing this in a Porsche, I'm going to get a loan for a GT3 or 911 Turbo with no intention on being alive for the first payment.

I hope you think your life is worth more than a Porsche payment.

BTW there is a road going to the ski slope near me that is just like the road in this video. You can see way past the corners and there is hardly ever any traffic on the road. Remeber it's not LA out here guys.

I didn't mean it like that:tongue: I meant if I'm going to risk life and limb it wouldn't be a 4S.

I don't know if this is repost buy you have to check out these dumb holes on the road. I hope they got flamed on the porsche site. Death wish is the first thing that comes to mind.

It is usually not a good idea to imply that just because someone drives a certain car, even an NSX , that they are above acting like a jacka$$. I do appreciate and share your hope that most NSX drivers would not engage in that, but there are plenty of ego driven jerkoffs out there driving Porsches, NSXes, Corvettes, and really anything with wheels, that they will do dumb stuff. The people in that video take the cake for not only being idiots, but being idiots in an area that appears to be rather residential and heavily traveled. Does anyone know where that video was shot? I could not tell from the license plates or road signs.

I hope you were joking....because I actually laughed at that.

True, there are roads like you mention, but this definitely did not appear to be one of those open roads. All sorts of moped, truck, and car traffic passed these guys. Include one car the Porsche almost hit head on.

There is one area of the road near me where there is a long straight away coming down a hill where you can see if traffic is coming for at least 2 miles,(slows speech way down) and those two miles are all turns. sweating now.
