NSX BBQ at Ann and Mike's Melbourne/Brevard Florida 3/5 (NOW 3/5)

I tried to set up a meet and drive to Captian Hiram's but they can't provide us with safe reserved parking so it's time once again to do what we know works!

It's official Ann and I will host an NSX BBQ at our home on Sunday 2/26 from 12 noon till 5:00!!! (Rain date will be the following Sunday 3/5) We hope to meet all those that weren't able to make our last get together and all that did to return. It's exciting to have new folks join in. All are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend or significant other. This is really casual so just be prepared to have a good time. This open to all our NSX brothers and sisters and really hope to see some folks from outside our immediate area!

Here's the deal:

NOW 3/5 because of rain on 2/26. Mark your calandars for the date change and please RSVP for the new date.

Where:

Ann & Mike Zarkowsky's
Indialantic, FL

Ann and I will supply the following:

Garage and lift for tech reviews/ oil changes/ or whatever
On driveway (off street) parking for at least 16 NSX's
BBQ grill
"Frankie's" hot wings in 3 different heats
Salad
Cold beer, soda, ice tea for all

You'll need to bring:

Work clothes if you plan on getting greasy working on your NSX
Meat or whatever you'd like to throw on the grill
Anything else you would like to eat not mentioned above

Please PM/email or post if you are planning on comming so we will have enough for all.

Mike

Hi Mike,
I am new to the forum and the NSX community and have been talking with Warren recently. I used to live in Indialantic on A1A. Sounds great and I will mark my calendar and make the drive up. Thanks for the invite, sounds like a lot of fun! You wanna know a bummer...i got a speeding ticket in Indialantic last Saturday night! :frown: I'll make sure to go a bit slower this time!

If there are any other South Florida NSXers that are planning on going up let me know so we can cruise up together.

Yellowboy,

Welcome to the fold and look forward to meeting you! I'll keep you posted on anyone else from South Florida that plans on coming. Sorry to hear about the ticket, for some reason there has been a stronger than usual number of police on the roads lately.

Yeah the officer even apologized to me about 3 times and said they were being told to crack down recently. May be b.s. but at least he was trying to be nice. He shaved 1 mile off the ticket which saved me about $25.00 and also prevents insurance from going up (14 miles over or less).

yellowdog?...I am a dog sometimes but its yellowboy! I guess I need to come up with a new one now for NSXprime. This was from my corvette forum days (2k millenium yellow convertible). Tomorrow will be my last day to drive the vette and Saturday morning it's NSX TIME!

Sorry about the typo! Fixed it. I guess I was thinking of that restaurant and had food on the brain. In a couple of days you'll forget you ever owned the Vette!!

Mike

Hey no problem on the typo! I was actually thinking maybe the new one should be reddog but then again the beer already got that one a long time ago! Maybe Raddog...what do you think?

I already forgot about the vette as soon as I drove the NSX. Physically ridding myself of it is merely a formality! The vette was fun alot of times but has had lots of mechanical issues. I should have lemoned it but was not smart enough to do so. And back then I wanted the NSX and the sig other talked me out of it. Well I am correcting that mistake Saturday morning!

Ann and Mike:

Hey! I'm also new to the NSX board and forums and would be coming over from the Orlando/Kissimmee area. I'll have just picked up my 1995 NSX-T this Tuesday and would love to join everyone and make some new friends in the NSX community.

Anything my fiance and I could bring to add to the enjoyment of the festivities?

Man, my mother lives down in Vero and it would have been cool if you could have gotten Capt. Hiram's.

Figure 2 from Kissimmee, Brian and Vikki! Red/Tan NSX-T.

Brian and Vikki,

I just sent a PM with directions and really look forward to meeting both of you and your 95 baby. Ann and I have everything covered so just some meat for the grill and a couple off rolls is all you need to bring. If you want to do an oil change you can bring the oil and filter along but that's it!

It's just a great time with great people.

Mike

They are great hosts. Just be carefull, Ann likes to initiate attendees with her hot wings.

She told me it was hot. I ate one, and laughed in her face! Although, her version of the story may be slightly different...

Thanks Jason for the welcome. I am now officially an owner of the best car I have ever owned! Picked it up on Saturday in Celebration and didnt stop driving until last night at 1 am!

Brian, These days I would bet you are not sleeping too well! I know I couldn't. Congrats on your purchase tomorrow. You will love it! Hope to see you and the rest of the guys and gals at Mike and Ann's BBQ.

Mike, can you PM me the directions when you get a chance. Thanks!

Hope to meet all of you there!

Fernando, enjoy the new machine. Can't wait to see all the mods ya got!

Brian, as Fernando said, I don't know how you will sleep tonight...I know I wasn't able to sleep the night before I picked my NSX up and I only had to drive 3hrs. to Jacksonville to get it! Heck some nights I still can't sleep unless I get a drive in!

Sounds like the BBQ is going to be a great turn out!
