This is from 'Driven to Perform 2006' not sure where the show was held. I saw these pictures on another forum, thought I share in the horror.

The license plate should say 'YTHINK'

Looks like a Newport Conversion, with a 2002 update bumper.

Leaving aside the wisdom (or lack of) turning an NSX into a ragtop, nothing looks more retarded than a convertible with the top down and the windows up. That is right up there with driving down the highway with your blinker flashing.

I think i'm gonna be sick.....

HA! All that work and it is missing the tow hook cover!

I dont think it looks that bad. I've seen much worse abortions posted here than that. just one mans opinion

Tough crowd... I can think of better things to do with the money, but that's a pretty damn unique car. Maybe the girls would swoon?

I kinda dig it. After owning an S2k before my NSX T, I noticed the high turbulence with the T off and windows down. If this car is built on a T chassis, no structural integrity is lost... So there is not compromise in performance… if anything, less drag without the rear hatch and partition glass.

Is that a shift knob or a microphone?
It's a shift knob with either a weapons button on top, or a mohawk.

i guess color makes a difference.

i guess if you had a nice roof compartment cover, it would look ok (maybe?), but other than that it looks almost as bad as a 300zx convertible (whoever decided to do that should be shot)

I like the idea of a convertible NSX and would buy one if it was made by Acura/Honda but not a aftermarket conversion. If it isn't done by the factory I just would not want it but, both of these convey how sweet one could look.

Personally I don't care for the chameleon color on a car. That color looks good as a accent or on a something small like a helmet IMO.

I've seen nasty Frankenstein cars on Prime that people gush over. Some with garish, fish faced bumpers and extreme wide body design/styles.
Cars that look like they were designed for the Power Rangers or some other cartoon and would have enthralled me when I was 12 or younger.
Why all the neg comments on this is hard to understand.
