NSX from Initial D

It will be in volume 35 of the graphic novels when it is published (you can order it in Japanese or Chinese at the moment). This team will also bring back Kai who drove the MR2 against Takumi at Irohazaka - he now drives an MRS. There will also finally be a Mark IV Supra that will appear that will team up with the MRS. I **think** the way the story will go is that the MRS and the Supra are going to battle Project D, and then the NSX is going to come in to help try and pick up the pieces - somewhat like with the Todo school Honda battles that happened a little earlier.
The only thing I know about the driver is he is a fighter pilot for the JSDF. I forgot his name :frown:
Shuichi Shigeno is having a bit of problems writing the new Initial D chapters, because if you think about it TECHNICALLY the time that has passed in the entire story up to this point is only two years. Since Initial D was first created in 1995-96, this should put the current chapters at about 1997-98. Fans are wondering why modern cars haven't really appeared as much, and Shigeno really went out on a limb by putting in a S2000 (the car technically would not have existed in the timeline of the Initial D story.).
