I'm shopping for a mid height garage lift. Does anyone have any input regarding using one of these lifts on an NSX? I originally was looking at a pair of scissor lifts but I wouldn't be able to extend them over 48" because I dont have the ceiling height. What repair jobs wouldn't this lift be suitable for? Any input would be appreciated.

Please contact me, as I am a distributor for BendPak/Ranger products. Check your PM.
Take care,

I have a 30" low rise lift and I have close to 100% access to the underside of the vehicle. In fact, I never have to raise it higher than 24 to 26 inches. It was one of the best tools I've ever got. I use it for all my cars. The only issue for the NSX is ground clearance. Most of the low or mid rise lifts have a 4 inch minimum clearance but I use 2 2x12 on each side of the lift and the problem is solved.

I'm thinking of cutting the existing garage floor and making a 5" recess that the lift could sit into .When the lift isnt being used I'd cover the pit with a piece of diamond plate or plate steel.

I remember an old friend who had one in his garage before he moved. Larry B worked under his car doing a clutch and tranny install. You can quiz him on the lift and its specifics.

Check out Johns! (caznsx)

The better mid rise lifts are Great for the NSX, you can do anything you need to, somethings however take extra work or putting the NSX further forward or placing 4x4's on the lift arms to give you extra clearance.
I certainly mis my a-symetric twin post but until my shop is finished I needed a lift for motor changes etc.
I have the Snap-on mid rise, looks similiar to the blue one pictured, raises I believe 54".
SO far I have done several engines, fuel tank/pumps, etc, the only real problem I have had is trying to make an undertray.

I was going to post a link to my garage thread, but Anytime got here first. My lift is perfect for what I need it for. Very good quality. Anyone interested in a lift should really contact Anytime about one.
