Could it be that the FAQ administrator doesn't read certain sections of it?????? Where is the FAQ Nazi when we need him?
Seriously, I have never actually dealt with HobbylinkJapan but they have a good reputation. They have been in the list of suppliers on the model list almost since I started maintaining the list. You can get to the NSX model list through the NSX FAQ located at NSX Prime.

The only NSXs that they usually have are the Tamiya plastic kits and the Studion 27 decals and conversion kits. If you are ordering several kits at once it is probably worthwhile. If not you're better off just paying retail here.

Just kidding... That is where I saw it, I was just wondering if they were reliable. Good prices aren't so good if you never receive the product <g>

They have what seems to be a nice price on the little Choro-Q cars.

They just recently added the penny racers to their site. I keep checking hoping that Studio 27 will re-issue their kit of the car that is in my avatar...
Like I said I've never dealt with them but have heard good things about them.

I've ordered quite a few things from them in the past couple of years. Yes, their prices are very good because they charge Japanese list price, which is much lower than US list price after the importer takes his/her cut. Anyways, the key is to order a few items at once. Ordering one car model will cost about 10-12 bucks for shipping, but each additional kit doesn't add that much more. The final price pretty much ends up cheaper than buying locally. Stuff in stock took about two weeks to come in.
If you read some of the info at the site, he mentions that some kits may be difficult to get. I ordered a few wheel sets and a model of an Odyssey van that they could never get a hold of. The manufacturer had discontinued those kits. As such, my card was never charged and I was informed of the situation.

Also, credit card info is kept on file there, so each time I ordered, I didn't have to send CC info anymore.

Bottom line, I've been happy with the service I've received from them. Very reputable company!
