I just had only my second service since my NSX ownership. I'm still practically a new owner relatively and comparative speaking. I was in the Acura dealership's waiting area and began to wonder why it was taking so long. Come to find out when I walked outside they were done servicing the car, but were gathered around getting quick cell phone snap shots of the car like some little mini photo shoot. Then, when I went to pay they must've held me up just as long as it had taken them to service the car with conversation and admiration for the car, and about how rare it is to see one come through the dealership so whenever one does it's kind of like the highlight of the day. I remained modest :biggrin:and stuck around and entertained the admiration for a little bit. Anyways, just thought I'd share that experience with my fellow Primers.

Good Day,
Eric

Nice! I would have been a little pissed in your situation. They should have notified you ahead of time regarding completion of the service, instead of letting you wait for their little photo session, but then again... I could understand them wanting to Facebook the event.

Yes, I agree it would have definitely been more appropriate to ask first considering the customer (myself) may have other stuff to do and not just sit there waiting for them to take pictures. I figured I'd let it go and let them have their moment. I've ALWAYS been a fan of the NSX. When they first came out I had a little model car that was red with black interior and swore I'd get one some day. I loved the car so much that color wasn't so important. I just wanted one. Ironically I got the real life version of the one I had as a toy and drooled over as a kid. I said that to say that during thst time of my life and on up throughout the years to my own ownership, had I seen one it would've had me in awe as well. Being mindful of that I decided I'd let them have their moment. These days any time I want to see one I can just go into my garage
This was truly one of my dream cars...

Eric, any chance this was at Nalley Acura.....the original selling dealership of our fantastic nearly original '92 Red/Black NSX?
