Does anyone know what the stock tire pressure recommendation for the 2002-2005 NSX-R is? Or, is it the same as all other NSXs?

I don't know. But I would be surprised if it's different from the usual 33F/40R. Not only because that seems to be the same with all NSXs, but also because those are already fairly high pressures and higher-performance versions would tend to be on the high side too.

40PSI rear, REALLY? Not the standard 32.. ?
Honda's recommendation for the NSX is 33 front, 40 rear. And that also seems to work out well in terms of tire wear, handling, etc. It's stated in the owner's manual and I think also on the door jamb. Haven't looked at either one lately...?

I find that if the pressure is 40 lbs its too floaty on the freeway at speed. I lowered mine to 35 all around and it helped a lot. I'm not sure what the NSX-R has.

I've never experienced that in my NSX, at the recommended 33F/40R. Not at all.

I forgot to mention this is with my new rims... less rubber between the rim and the road... (18/19)

I still use 33/40 after all these years. It seems to give very predictable handling for the car on street and track, with the stock Yoks, track tires, or my current super sticky Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs.

Actually, on a side tangent, these Z1 Star Specs are the best tires I've ever used on an NSX. Period.
