As part of the refresh work I do over on NSXCB, thought I would share some new additional work.

So basically I decieded to do seats, roof lining, door card inserts and the 3 sun visor coverings.

My interior was already in good condition but a hate of mine was the dated pleated look of the seats and door cards and the grey roof was always a hit or miss thing. Most of the sun visors split at the side closest the windows and my own was no exception. I also a few years ago did my roof in black, but it was a vinyl spray and although it looked ok, I wanted to change it.

So here is how the interior bits used to look. These pics make the seats look more shiny than they actually are for some reason.

So what I wanted to go with was everything nice and plane and smooth finish, in REAL genuine NAPPA leather. This is not just a quick tidy up or the inserts redone etc etc. This is a full professional install, the seats are completely re-trimmed front/back/ headrest, the roof is completely trimmed in NAPPA leather, along with the sun visors and the door inserts.

Heres some additional pieces finished today.

Basically took the standard gear knob and created the newer perforated style on it. Also did the same with the steering wheel.

Enjoy lol

Really great looking job. Not correct of course, but a excellent job for the look you went for. In what country was the work done and was this all custom made for your car as a one off?

Thanks guys!

Not sure I follow you when you say, "not correct"

It was done here in Ireland

Sudesh,

I have always liked your posts and contributions on the UK board. I find myself on the UK boards looking at all the EDM/JDM pictures I can. You can never go wrong with plenty of good photos. Thanks for posting here on Prime of your detailed work.

That's the nicest leather work I've seen in a long long time

Hi!

Thank you for the kind words!

If you ever need anything "photo specific" of either model, let me know as I have a files with over 1000 photos of JDM etc.

I agree, very nice leather work! Was there a reason you chose not to go with perforated leather seats to match the steering wheel and shift knob?

Hi,

My car has NSX-R setup on the inside, so wanted to do something a bit different. My intentions is, once I get the recaro/ NSX-R seats, I'll do the interior as per NA1 NSX-R spec in Alcantara.

I didn't do the perforated seats or doors as personally I'm not a huge fan of that look, think like the pleated look, it will date quickly. I just did the steering wheel and gear knobs to show what else I can do as I had those spare.

Beautiful craftsmanship... big thumbs up!

If any NSX Prime members care to, go to NSXCB and you can see nearly all the photo documentation of Sudeshs' transformation, (search) from a standard NSX to a nearly complete NSX-R over the past bit of time.
It did come out very, very nice.
Sudesh, just a small advert for your work and NSXCB as well.
God forbid they find out about "The KAZ".

Cheers

This guys' contributions to the UK board is top notch, his restorations are unreal... wow.. when the Brits put their mind to it, they can kick some serious rear-end.

The best part of this was those damn sun visors, finally somebody with a solution to that hardening foam..
