Bob,Great shots... how did you get them on cnn...Bill

You can sign up as an "iReporter" with CNN.com and then submit photos/stories for their consideration. They regularly ask for submissions for various "assignments" which they usually feature on weekends. They then select between 10 and 19 photos for a featured gallery such as this weekend with the City Lights story. If you make the "first cut" they email interview questions to vet you and your photo/story and then you will be given the "CNN iReport" badge/logo on your photo to indicate you have been vetted. Once vetted, they then select their favorites for the featured gallery.

I started doing this last year and have had 21 of my 47 submissions vetted and approved for use on CNN. I have also been featured several times for the "Super Moon", Galapagos Islands, Fall Foliage and Best of 2011 Travel in addition to this weekend.

Super Moon - photo 10 - http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/03/20/photo.supermoon/index.html?hpt=T2

Galapagos Islands - photos 13, 14 & 15 - http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/18/travel/galapagos-tips-destination-adventure/index.html?iref=allsearch

Fall Foliage - photos 1, 3 & 12 - http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/28/travel/fall-foliage-travel-snapshots/index.html?hpt=tr_c1

Best of 2011 Travel - photo 15 - http://www.cnn.com/2012/01/02/travel/best-travel-snapshots-2011/index.html?hpt=tr_mid

Nice to know you race in LeMans.

The producer asked why I was in France and I was trying to explain how the NSXCA was invited to join the Honda nsx club Europe and the nsx club of japan for track days at lemans in 2008. I didn't think they would mention the nsx or why we were there in the caption. Too bad they didn't say I won.

Bob, you are such a remarkable man. You amaze me. Congratulations. I am going to show that link to everyone at work and brag about knowing you. Level.

I remember watching you dart around the square at Notre Dame earlier during the day stopping here and there to aim at the cathedral, the surroundings and the people. So absorbed, so intense. You were looking up after every shot, as if you had to make sure it was still there, like it might lift up and run away, and you had to catch it before it did.

There were some other photos I saw, that I believe you captured in the evening around the same time you took these perhaps? They had someone twirling some flags or something with flames?
