NSX Specialist lapel pin

I'm wondering if Prime can help me identify this; I haven't seen it discussed as NSX memorabilia before. It's an "NSX Specialist" lapel pin. (I'm wondering if either @Honcho or @Old Guy lost it. Kaz maybe?)
The story I was told is that it was given by Acura (Canada?) to salespersons who sold a certain # of 1st gen NSX's. Based on the sales #'s, I can't see too many folks selling several NSX's, even over a few years, so that doesn't sound right to me. Also wondering if it's worth anything. Maybe it's solid gold!

That story seems off cause the italicized version of "NSX" was not introduced until 9.14.15 [LINK] making this pin appear to be a 2nd generation gift/award, not 1st gen.

This is not first Gen NSX stuff.....They did not have NSX Specialist back then.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. As @vf2ss noted, the font is wrong. I should really have noticed that, with all the work I put into duplicating the exact Gen1 NSX font with polygons in my pop-up cup holder. I guess the sarcasm on the gold assay wasn't blatant enough.

That's exactly what it is. I have one and received it back in 2016 when I flew to Ohio for the launch and training of the NC1.
