I experienced a freak coincidence tonight. Got home from work, changed into my beloved "I love 2nd Gear" NSX T-shirt and headed to the Gym. On my way at the end of the street were two young guys in their 20's? with a remote controlled car. On second glance i recognized it was a red raybrig(?) NSX kit!!!

So i stopped to talk to them; told them the NSX was my dream car, and they seemed to like it too. We talked for a bit before I realized my T-shirt had a huge "NSX" plastered on the back! It was then they realized I was a hardcore NSX fan (or total loser :p ), and I realized the NSX had united complete strangers for a brief moment... then i went on my way to the gym. :)

But what a coincidence; i haven't worn that T-shirt in months, and those guys were out there just as i walked past. It must be a sign! :D

Silly story. thanx for reading. :) If i see those guys again, i'll take my stock RC NSX down and race for pink-slips.

Play nice with the "Faag," it's a changing world and we have to love everyone.

even him:biggrin:

oh to add to the thread...

Cool that a shirt brought you guys together. Not what if you were out driving the car past some hookers. There's a total blind date love connection:wink:

NSX unites non strangers too
OK here is another unbelievable NSX coincidence.

I bought my NSX from a Dutch guy who lives a few hours drive away. He is a really nice guy and we have been saying we will get together for a hug, um, a drink for a year and a half but he lives 2 hours from me so it hasn’t happened.

A few weeks ago, I am at my girlfriend’s mother’s apartment in Zoetermeer and what do I see parked in the parking, a orange NSX!!!!
Unbelievable!
Must be only three orange ones in this corner of Europe.
And it looks like it is his!

I phone him, he is in his niece’s apartment 2 floors up!!!!!!!!!!
Unbelievable!
This is in the Randstad, must be about 10 million people in that area.
Unbelievable first to see that someone in his family lives in the same apartment I have been to many times!

We got together for a hug, um, a hello and it was all very nice and rosy .

Nice, eh?

PS. I thought of asking him for his T-shirt (non-NSX) so I could tuck it under my pillow at night, but in the excitement and everything, I forgot. Sorry Neo.

Mike, strangers are those who do not have or aspire to have NSXs. I mean, those people are strange. :D

I agree. There is no such thing as a NSX enthusiast "stranger". There are only NSX enthusiast friends-that-I-have-not-yet-met.

LOL you guys are too funny!

710 - great story. Life is awesome when little "coincidences" like that occur... However you might want to speak to Dr.Phil about that obsessive-compulsive hugging disorder you have. ;) j/k

Anyone else with a story like mine or 710's please share before someone posts that classic pix of Hugh or this thread de-rails into bizarre hug-fest.

OK OK sounds warm and fuzy etc. etc. I'll be travelling to Hong Kong and Bangkok next week (Nov 15 to Dec 8) any NSX'ers out there in Asia?

We can get together for a group hug too,.. er, beers and stop by the Drifting locations. I know that there's a Car show in BKK so if you guys want to check it let me know...............

 LOL

nice to read some "love stories" here...

People in or around Seattle sucks, including nsx owners, doesn't matter where you see them, they don't flash high beam nor wave at each other!!! I made a point of waving at them, they acted as if they don't see you.
