Hello fellow NSXers.

I want to point you to a site if you are interested in NSX vs. Ferrari vs. SC M3 street/track videos.

http://www.dvinsight.com

A strange and interesting thing happened tonight. I teach college and one of my most talented students approached me and asked if I was into cars. I told him yes and asked him why he was interested. He told me that he was not really into cars but that he was into video and photography. He has been traveling all over the planet taking track and street videos. He has compiled a collection of footage and edited it into a 50 minute movie. He has traveld all over the country making this thing. He even build a non-linear editing bay in his apartment for it. He has even somehow footed all the travel bills and equiptment bills to make this as a student.

I told him to design a cover, reproduce it and sell it. He told me he already had and that he has 1600 copies laying in his apartment. I was blown away!

I told him I would buy one and that I would do what I could in order to reward his entrepreneurship since I have car contacts and he does not.

So. If anyone is interested in videos he is very talented and it will not disappoint you! Follow the url. He has previews at the beginning of the month till his bandwidth runs out. Check out his still shots section though.

Also if anyone knows about distributing such a product... feel free to contact him. Mike's contact info is at his site. Also... If you want to post this at another car site... go for it!

Also he will set your car up for a photoshoot... if u have not yet been selected for the NSXPRIME PIC o the month yet... this might be your chance! HA!

I have no financial interest in this.

Yet I would love to see someone young like this rewarded for such entrepreneurship.

So. Go check it out!

Looking forward to receiving my copy!

looks like he hit this months bandwidth limit. I'm a little confused as to why he produced a video about import cars if he's not really into them. Is it a group of them that produce the video and he edits? Looks similar to what the teckademics (www.teckademics.com) guys do. Check out the beginning of the new Teckedemics Invasion DVD trailer. It shows 2 2002+ NSXs with widebody kits cruising together. Worth getting just for that heh.

Props to the kid on going after something he likes to do... But I do question some of the photos. Some look identical just croped from those on www.dtmpower.net

One that stuck out in praticular was a kids car from Cincinnati I know that Dtmpower did a photo shoot a while back with it in 2001... But he could have been the contracted photographer, I am not sure tho I am pretty sure Teck and Dtm do all their own and do not outsore much. This is what i am talkign about...But it also seems some of his video's and members video's are on there also so maybe he does their taping?

His friends are or I should say were Teckademiks, who are into cars and he started taking pics for them as he was into photography. Those landed him freelance gigs with other tuner mags. He works freelance for a mag called tunerworks or eurotuner, something like that. He even has given them (teckademiks) footage that they now sell and he does not see profit from it. Also they took one of his pics without asking for the cover of one of their DVDs. So now he is not to keen with Teckademiks.

When I was telling him to make a DVD and sell it to make some money like this company called Tekademiks... he was like "Yeah" and started naming them and talking about them and telling me that they are old friends and he started working with them until they ripped off an image from him for a DVD cover without permission. He described the ripped off image but I have never seen it. He was not mad about the footage as he gave it to them to use in any method they saw fit. He seemed only upset about the photo as they did not ask for permisson to use it and did not credit him for his work while the video was a gift from him to them so it was not boldly taken without permission. I'll have to ask.
