NSXXXTC 9,767 Miles in 32 days.
Two tickets, one speeding in Scottsdale AZ and a reckless driving in VA that will cost a fortune. This is my first post; I am not great at Grammar or spelling. I can drive OK and I am blessed to drive one of the finest cars on the planet. I took a road trip and have lots to report. I will try to keep the posts specific as possible. Bash SC with the SS box that blew the motor because of high intake temps and detonation at 6500 RPMS in 6th gear. That led to a 3.3 liter motor with sleeved block and forged pistons ½ point drop in compression thanks to Tony at Comptech.. The drive out on the new motor not revving over 3,400 RPMS, Tuned at 345 HP 6LBS Boost Mileage varied from 22.9 to 25.6.
Interesting: Octane in the East was 93 west of Indiana 91 west of Texas 90 CA 91. All sold as Premium prices ranged from 3.65 to 4.56 per gal. I had a water to Air Aftercoller installed at STMPO in Tempe AZ and would Like to thank Danielle, Kyle, Brandon, Bob and Ross. By the way Ross treated me like a brother. I will tell you about the other parts I bought from STMPO in later posts. I will also include pictures. This was a difficult fabrication to say the least. They will be on line soon with some great new products. I drove to Autowave in Hunting Beach CA and met Shane and Mike to tune the car. Great people!! We installed the New AEM Fic.. His first install on the NSX. I also put a 10 LB pulley on the car. When adding the Aftercooler to the system the Boost dropped 1 ½ to 4.5 and the 10LB pulley made 8. It made 392 HP with 91 Octane The mileage was better at 100 MPH than at 80. 1.5 more to the gal. IE more efficient at 3700 RPMS = ½ lb of boost. The mileage went to 22.5 low and high 23.7. When driving both city and highway I have had as much as 24.6 with the 93 Octane.. I was blessed to meet lots of the NSX community and was treated great by all!! If I get good responses and you would like to hear more let me know.

We need photos.....(if there was any money left over to take photos with the price of gas these days).

I hope someone warned you about the speeding penalties in Virginia. I think they actually give jail time to locals for speeding.

Thanks Robert. I took lots of pictures because they were free. I will post them when I get back from Florida. It was $1500 in gas but a great trip.
I would like to avoid the jail time. The attorney should cost less than the gas.

Oops, just noticed that you live in Virginia. They don't lock up non-residents for speeding and I was hoping that was the case with you but I see that you are subject to their oppressive speeding statutes. Good luck and in case you do spend some time in a jumpsuit, at least post a few photos before being sentenced to three hots and a cot.....

You can post pics of your cell also. LOL. Good luck.

Hey David,

Stmpo has been under the radar for sometime now so I would like to ask to keep all of this info to this post until the site up... fact is we have 60-80 parts coming out in a few weeks and we want all the ducks in a row before we let the public benifit from our R&D...

Wes was such a cool dude and with the traveling he has done over the last 5 weeks... I decided to post some of our pics of what we did.

His new Stmpo bbsc aftercooler set up will be available for the pre and post 97 NSX's soon. It was done correctly and will be sold at a price that will shock people.

The kit included a custom welded bell intercooler core with a waterneck on the box to avoid the weight and space of the expansion tank , hi-flo-flojet pump, redeveloped nsx-r chassis bar that mounted the oversized heat exchanger up front, all designed and integrated to increase air flo (not send air under the box with 3 90's which we have seen often) but at the same time.... keep the targa engine hatch and also the spare up front....

Like stated above... stmpo is coming... thanks for joining in of moments in my life WES..... I too am proud to say your my friend.

Ross, Kyle, Brandon... and Danielle..lol

Wes is a great guy and if you met him you would realize he has read almost this entire website... yet keeps posts to a minimum.

Having 7000 posts does have its place in this world. So somewhere, somehow we have all benifited from what you had to say. Chances are we have met at an expo or even sold each other parts. My comments were directed to a good dude who drove 3000 miles to see me and my guys... at the end of the day he left with JDM style tail lights, an aem and fic install, a custom built water to air aftercooler, heat echanger wityh a type r front mount, tan interior swap for black interior pieces to help moderize the look, gave him a spare tire pump, ti-dave front clamps, swapped the fpr so he didnt have to run around town to find one..... he crashed in my 3rd bedroom for over 4 nights.... by the time he was back on the road... his final bill was under 3k.

Now, we have a very tight community... so tight that you would attempt to help by questioning all of this.. all I have to say is I cant wait to do the same for you..

Hey Meeyatch, hi nice to meet you too, the reason for the lack of posts and pics is, i spend the time of a day making your NSX's better and parts ready available.

pics and more posts are soon to come.
kyle.

Both of you can make whatever off-handed comments you want to me, I really do not care. I just expressed my timidness and concerns since this post was titled something about a 9,000 + mile trip, then turned into a product discussion and plug with hardly any actual details of the trip that was the purpose of the post. That's all. If you guys are legit, great. But I will not apologize for being concerned considering all of the fly-by-nights that come on here. Like I said, I hope you guys are the real deal. I really do. Best of luck.

I am the real deal. I have been busy since the trip out west. I just got back from Daytona. I am way too busy and will post. The trip was awsome. Highlights were go cart racing with the NSX club and Pantera club in Vegas. Thanks Jim!! I had a blast. Another plug. Good luck in your new location. Back to the trip. One speeding 15 over and one at 27 over. I hope no jail time. I would like to keep a liscence.
I had the first handeling situation in New Mexico. I have never felt unstable at any speed in an NSX ( over 175MPH) I was playing with an Audi A-8. We were traveling between 110 ad 150. I wore him out 5 times. I would let him have the jump and chase him down. The last chase down was 145 as I went passed a large gust of wind from the drivers side blew the car off the road as I passed. We were comming over a rise. Quite scarry. On another day a road Alligator ( truck tires in the road. I was in the fast lane as uasuall, a car swerved to the right just as I saw the Gator. I pulled hard to the left overshot the safty lane and on to the grass slowly returned to the road. Yes I am a reckless driver. Small deposit in the shorts!!!

I took a deposit on the yellow 97 ctsc. I have another 97 Red low miles. Stock. New clutch and tires. I will post later this week. Thanks for your responces. I have great stories about the trip. Sorry for the burnouts in front of SOS. Sorry for spellig errors.

Let me know if the buyer doesn't get the Yellow one. I was the one asking for pics of it last week.
Might be interested in the red one if the price is right, provided that I can't get the yellow one.

<<<< picking up the yellow nsx this coming saturday.

i saw the car last friday. first time sitting in one, first time driving one, first time buying one  what a beautiful car
