Hats off to Dave (BadCarma) with his help on a few wiring items and spark plugs I have installed one hell of a NX nitrous system on my 2002 NSX. Dave is very knowledgeable about nitrous systems and the NSX.
Nitrous Express (NX) has sponsored my 2002 NSX and it will be in a few magazines soon. I will have some PICS posted in the next week or so of the NX system. Dave tells me he will have many Nitrous kits with lots of HP options soon. Nitrous is the best power adder IMO. If you want to run fast, like low 12's high 11's in the 1/4 mile safely and with no BS from Turbos or SC this is the answer.
I have run Nitrous on all my cars for the past 15 years and I will tell you this, If you follow the rules it is safe and the most effective way to make HP. Think about a 75 HP increase from 3000RPM all the way up to 8000RPM. With no lag or late boost to come on at 5-6grand. low 12's all day long. I will be happy to answer any questions as I am sure Dave will help out also.

John, thanks for the plug! I try to be as helpful as possible.BTW John has one sick wet NX kit and a very tight car period..very tight install.looking forward to seeing your car in the mags! you need to upload those pics soon and share with the spray junkies.

Best Regards David

The 50-100 adj. import NX wet kit can be had for 575.00 or so. You may be able to find it a bit less if you shop around. I went all out with Carbon Fiber Bottle, heater remote opener, ect, ect. If you but all I have on my NSX you will be at $1200-1300.
After speaking with Dave and NX we all agree that 100hp is the limit for a stock NSX. This is a simple jet change in the Import NX kit. Trust me it is woth the 575.00 but it is even better for 1200 with all the trimings.

Hi ... I've been thinking of going with an NO2 upgrade ... actually deciding between the NO2 and the Basch Supercharger. But anyway, I'm curious to know if you've timed your 0-60?

Nothing will touch the performance of Nitrous. It is not a gradual increase in power. I was running a 150 shot and when I hit the nos on the dyno, it was a very very sharp spike in power and torque. The downside is having to refill the bottle. It is not a big deal for me because the shop is within a few miles of my house. Drive a car with nitrous and a car with a S/C before you make a decision.

0-60 times

Well with a high 11 second low 12 second 1/4 mile, like I was runing on my 92 the 0-60 time was in the high 3's low 4's. This is with a 285 30 18 Potenza (shaved) and using the Nitrous in first gear with almost no tire spin. It takes a bit of time and practice to learn how to get this good of a 0-60 time with Nitrous.

Nitrous activation

My Nx Nitrous system comes on via the RM style Horn button with TPS sensor wide open throttle switch from NX. Get in touch with Dave (badcarma). He can set you up with a horn activation system.

i was wondering what other mods you have done to your 2002 nsx, i am looking at a comptech supercharger or NOS, is your motor completely stock except the NOS? I would also love to see pictures of your install if you have them, thanks for any help or advice you could provide.

0-60 between 3-4 secs is down-right impressive. That'll take just about every car on the road. Do you store your car in the winter? If so, do you empty out the nitrous bottle or just leave whatever is left of the nitrous?

I have Comptech headers, Tatiec light weight center exit exhaust, Carbon Kevlar rear diffuser, Tein RA's, SSR 18's Competitions with 285-30-18 and 225-35-18 SO3's, Tatiec JGTC rear wing, Carbon Fiber mirrors.
E-mail me your e-mail address and I will get some PICS off to you.

My car is not stored in winter. I live in NashVegas (Nashville, TN). Winter was harsh for down here this past year. There were still some nice 40 deg sunny days were I took my NSX out.
NOS will stay in the bottle for any period of time so a 3-6 month storage will not hurt.
